CoutureCandy.com reports 57% increase in November sales
Santa Barbara-based CoutureCandy.com, leading online retailer of women's high-end fashion clothing, announced record sales in November 2005. Increased traffic from search engines and fashion related affiliated websites, also assisted in generating a 44% increase in November sales revenue.
"Denim Jeans accounted for most of the sales over the holiday shopping month, from designers such as Kasil Jeans, 575 Denim, and True Religion Jeans", states Jill Johnson, CEO of CoutureCandy.com. "Our 'market researchers' prove to have found the hottest designers in denim."
CoutureCandy.com launched its revolutionary business model in July 2005, by enabling designers and retailers to sell their inventory through the site, having them manage their inventory and ship all sales; thus, increasing their profitability without the additional expenses of building and marketing their own e-commerce site.
Designers have had tremendous success using CoutureCandy.com to strengthen their online exposure and increase sales, while maintaining an exclusive, high-end representation. "CoutureCandy is a great forum for new designers to showcase their collection," states David Lim, Head Designer for Kasil Jeans.
CoutureCandy.com has also added some features to make the holiday and Christmas shopping easier, such as on-site LivePerson, "Shop the Runway", Podcasts, and Personal Stylists, bridging the gap between online and off-line retail shopping.
"By integrating the best of class technology solutions, with knowledgeable fashion consultants, we believe we can provide fashionistas around the world, with an experience unlike any currently available," says Eric Jones, Co- founder of CoutureCandy.com.
