Publisher Cyber Media ( India) Ltd. (CYBM.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) said on February 22 that it had bought 20 percent of U.S. firm SX2 Media Labs LLC for an undisclosed sum.

SX2 has a portfolio of magazines such as Computer Shopper and CNET Digital Living, which together generated revenues of more than $19 million in 2004, Cyber Media said in a statement.

Shares in Cyber Media rose more than 10 percent to 110.90 rupees in a firm Mumbai market.
