In view of expanding its network of hotels, ITC is keen on investing in the Britain hotel sector after India and the UK signed the air services agreement. It is contemplating opening two 'super luxury' hotels one each in Chennai and Bangalore.

Currently, 10 of the ITC-Welcomgroup hotels are marketed worldwide by the global hospitality chain Sheraton Corporation, which is part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

It has pioneered a holistic concept of 'branded accommodation' in the hospitality industry.
