The world's number two truck maker, Sweden's Volvo, said on December 14 that it had won an order for 100 buses from India's largest travel agent.

Volvo, which did not disclose the value of the deal, said in a statement it would deliver around half of the buses to Raj Travels & Tours by January next year, with the remainder being supplied during the following months. The Swedish firm last week announced its biggest bus order ever for 2,000 vehicles to a Chinese transport firm.
