SpiceJet Ltd. said on March 27 that it will add five new aircraft to its fleet by December to help it raise market share.

"Our current market share is 6.5 percent and we expect this to be 10 percent by the end of 2006 as we will be adding five more aircraft this year," Ajay Singh, a director in the company, told reporters.
