India’s premier B-school, IIM Ahmedabad, is considering a joint venture with the Duke University of the US, which is aimed at attracting executives from the west, especially those looking at the emerging markets like India. The proposed Joint Venture will have an initial capital of $1 million. This is one of the first initiatives by any B-school in the world.

Duke University is among the Top-20 B-schools of US and it may contribute the entire capital. IIM-A will impart training and provide infrastructure facility.

This initiative will help increase IIM-A increase its global presence.
